While it is probably best for beginners to learn to access the CopyPaste features via the Clip Extender Palette ‘⌘ C P’, the menus which appear in several places are also convenient.
1. Edit Menu - CopyPaste adds submenus to the Copy, Cut and Paste in the Edit menu. Opening the submenus gives access to the Clip Extender and Clip Recorder clipboards.
2. Utilities Menu - If the “Utilities Menu” item is checked in the Preferences then a Utilities Menu appears at the bottom of the Edit menu.
3. Palette Menus - The buttons at the bottom of the Clip Extender Palette provide drop down menus.
4. Title Bar Menu - The Clip Set Menu is accessible by clicking on the Clip Set name in the title bar of the Clip Extender Palette. The Clip Viewer drops down a menu with all clipboards from the title bar.
By default, a click in the Edit menu shows the CopyPaste submenus, but when a modifier key (Shift, Option, Command, Ctrl) is pressed the Edit menu drops down without the added submenus.
Checking the “Modifier Enables Submenu” box in the preferences reverses this setting, making it so that a modifier key must be pressed to show the submenus.
